Why do you keep coming back to MFF?
I keep coming back because I like coming back. I like to join in the discussions and I like to think I have some friends on here.
What do you like about mff compared to other forums?
The people, the layout, the easy going-ness.

I like the members mainly and the style, i find it easier!

What Do You Like About MFF Compared To Other Forums
the layout (it's simple and nice!!!), people (some know their football, some are funny, and very few are intolerable (but that's part of their charm :nod: )

Why Do You Keep Coming Back To MFF
Because you get to know the people and nearly all your posts are replied to. I also like the fact that people are just as willing to post in the pub as they are in the football forums.
What Do You Like About MFF Compared To Other Forums
The fact it's a smaller site. The only other forum I regularly go on is the GPG and there are a couple of thousand members at least and your posts just get lost on the big topic. Also the posts here are manageable. On other forums people are willing to write a thesis on why McClaren should leave or something, which just ends up boring you.

The flip side of being a smaller forum is that there are times you go on when no-one else is coming on. Although with the international members this is improving...

Just a few more members really...can't think of anything else realistically that would improve it.

The site is fast, the features, i know/like the members. the fact that you will get noticed....like westboy said if you go to a main club board you're posts won't be seen.

It could be a bit more active, altho i've noticed it's gradually getting better by the day.

Easy to navigate, not too much activity,not too little.

It could be a bit more active, and there are way too many glory supporters that have never even seen their team play.

Just a few more regulars, dont have the portal as the homepage, get some non-glory supporters
Oh yeah the portal thing isn't great. Some of the polls don't make sense without the thread and you can't read the full titles of most of the threads, I know this might entice people in, but in reality it's just a pain.

The FACT that i haven't joined any other forums, makes it clear why MFF is the best.

Probably the distinction between the members who post more regularly, and are given more priveleges, than the members who have just joined/have posted too less even though they are interested in football.

Yeah I am going to try to make the portal better from this weekend.
Whilst I'm in the criticising mood, why are football posts going in the 'Away from football - Debates' section, whilst they are debates, surely they are football ones and should be in the football section. Bit trivial but just wondering...

No, but most threads in the forum are going to start some sort of debate. Even if it is just a match report of manu v. boro, it's still a debate because people are debating whether Ronaldo dived for example
