Scotlands 1st Minister, Jack McConnell has said he would like to see the reintroduction of National Service here in the UK, on a voluntary basis, as he believes it would boost the job prospects of 16-18 year olds.

I don't know how it will increase their job prospects. But It would be a good way of getting some people off the streets, and the moneys pretty ok. But most of the chavs wouldn't want to do work, they would still rather stay on street corners threatening the locals.
