I though Johnson was ok actually, looked sharp, had good movement and was one of the few who wanted the ball in the first half.

i agree, i was impressed with Johnson, these type of players including Nolan and Barton, want to play for England, wheras the bunch at the moment apart from stevie G have got no balls for the occasion

yeah nothing wrong with AJ!, Rooney just not play very well, Nugest is ok but steal Defoe's goal. its pathetic he kick ball to net so quickly! lol.....should Defoe's goal!.....

TCM is England's best striker full stop. The problem is, currently there is no one worthy to play alongside him.

For crouch to come back from surgery and score a perfect hat trick (Right foot, Left foot, Header) says a lot about the guy.

He has shown he can score goals for England so I dont see why he shouldnt be in the squad.

Crouch is one week over-rated then the next week under-rated hes a rare player. Lanky and a good finisher! How does that work???

People have a down on him. After his last performance they have to dam him with faint praise, and then get the usual digs in.
