Help Needed

I am having a problem with double php extensions. For instance the links to the main site should be:

http://www.myfootballforum.com/index.php

But its showing like this:

http://www.myfootballforum.com/index.php.php

Any help you be greatly appreciated.

On there and on the referral code. I have had to edit the referral code myself. I just don't know what the problem is.
