Dundee United can now confirm that a nominal fee has today been agreed in principle with Cowdenbeath regarding the transfer of 21 year old French midfielder Morgaro Gomis. Subject to formalities being completed, he will sign a two and a half year contract with the Club in January.

Morgaro signed for Cowdenbeath in August 2006 after impressing as a pre season trialist. He began his career with Montpellier in his native France before leaving to join the youth set up at Chelsea. He subsequently played non league football before moving to Barnet.

Manager Craig Levein said, " Morgaro is still a young lad with potential, hence the nominal fee. While he will be a first team squad player, I don't expect him to be a regular first team player in the short term. He's seen as one for the future and shouldn't be viewed as someone who will immediately add strength to the midfield."

We would with open arms!

McFadden is brilliant when he plays for Scotland. Runs his arse off and plays for the shirt!

He puts the effort in for Everton as well, which I respect - he just tries to beat the same man 7 times instead of crossing the ball in.

He doesn't have the footballing brain for a Premiership player - he's got the skill but he'll never make it down here in this division.

Just because he doens't fall to the floor when he gets touched like the rest of the Premiership. Faddy goes on dribbles because fans like it when players try to beat the opposition!

Maradona? Henry? then we have McFadden :D :D LOL
