They must have entered your username wrong.
All you haver to do is get them to click on your unique referral link and it would have added them to your list.

We are not encouraging advertising on other boards. We actually refrain people from doing this. Spamming on other forums is wrong, we can't stop them, we can just advise people not to do it as it backfires on the forums.
There is nothing wrong with putting a link to this sitein your signature if its ok with the message board in question.
I guess you are an admin on another forum?

And which forum are you from? If it's from the one that uplift runs then I think most anywhere would rather be regular here i.e better software, better features/members/more quality posting.
