We think its the fairest way.

Most of the posts are of good quality so this is a good way to reward people

Don’t know really
I would do away with the ranking thing if you want to show seniority do it through membership numbers
Also have a cut off date for those who don’t contribute say after three months of no posts you would have to rejoin
You already have member of the month

thats a good idea but if you have someone who post once a month and then compare them to someone like kolo who joins and does about 1000 a month, he would seem lower beause he was a lower member number, even though he was a much better poster.

we done it this way as its the way most of the forums do it, it does seem unfair when you get posters like me who post crap all the time, but if a member doesnt want to be a trainee then all they have to do is post a bit more

i will see if we get any other commnets and see if others like your idea and maybe we can incorperate it,

if anyone else thinks this is a good idea please pm me, as with any other ideas you have i will put them to the supermods and admin to see what they think and any good ones will be but to the vote for all memebers to have a final say
