4th Official: - Howard Webb
howard webb should be the ref instead of 4th official.

Howard Webb wouldn't be allowed to ref the final as he refereed the Semi-Final, but Howard has got plenty of years left.
Safe appointment for a huge game.
Who are the unheard of assistants?
Peter Kirkup...what a name...

Peter Kirkup....what a Linesman more like. Was appointed to last years Final, but pulled out the day before due to an eye infection.

do you want to retract your comments after watching today's late kick off?
Hopefully he'll realise his mistake and try to balance things up but i somehow doubt it.

no mate. the referee at old trafford was peter walton not steve bennett lol . peter walton usually does spring up some poor decisions as he is not a regular in the premiership

I wouldn't say he's a shit ref, no, he wouldn't be prem if he was shit. But what I would say is that, in my opinion, he's a good national list ref, performs well in the championship, league one and two, but he's quite average when it comes to prem. He seems a little too weak at times, and a bit too whistle happy and pedantic.
Not my cup of tea. I think some of the other SG refs are better, stronger when it comes to man management.

basically, it was for the most blatant dive healy has produced in his life (which took some doing), outside the box
now, contary to popular belief, that is now not a free-kick our way and a booking for healy, it's a penalty and a red for brad jones- the fa took our view as well
