Another December has come upon us and as always people debate over whether to get a Real Tree or to go for an artificial tree so I thought I would ask you all to see what you perfer. So Real or Fake?

Also what Kind of tree do you get?

Personaly I get a Real 9' black spruce also known as a manitoba spruce. It just smells like Christmas

I like real trees better because they feel more Christmas-y. For me, atleast. My family usually get a Norweigan Pine that is so big we can cut it to make a big tree for the living room and a smaller tree for my room.

Real trees are shit, they start dying straight away, and the needles are very annoying, my parents have an artificial tree and it looks very nice, my brother has one also as he's is even nicer.

I prefer real trees. The smell of them when you get up in the morning is lush :p

If there decent trees they won't die straight away.

I should be getting mine soon, normally the 15th of December we get ours.

Yeah, we used to get our tree around the 18th but in the last few years we had to get ours earlier because there just wouldn't be any good ones left. This year we got ours today because my school is selling them for a fundraiser for our grad. So we will put ours up around the 22-23 and then it usualy won't start losing needles until about the 3-5 of january

Got mine yesterday.

We went during the Portsmouth vs. Everton match because when we did that a few years ago we won.

B***ards still lost though.

I'm pretty sure a christmas tree has no real tie in to Jesus anyway.

lol, not really, we looked that up and it has nothing to do with it, besides a poem that was made up about him 400 years after he died, so sorry he has nothing really to do with santa

He's a gift giver which is the essence of santa despite his change in costume.

Very politically correct poll.

Real Trees are nicer but fakes are more practical and you don't need to buy new one's every year. I'd still prefer a real one if I'm staying at home for Christmas.
