What should I get?

I'm getting a present for the Giving Tree at school. A Giving Tree is a Christmas tree with pieces of paper saying things like "Girl, Age 7, Toy" and such. People pick a paper and buy a gift for a child whose parents couldn't buy them a present for Christmas. I chose a 15 year old boy, but it didn't say what to get. I couldn't decide whether to get a girl or boy, so I chose a boy because I figured they'd be easier to buy for. But, the problem is, I don't have a club as to what a 15 ear old guy would want. The present wouldn't have ot be really expensive, but I still want it to be good. All I can think of is buying a t-shirt, but even then I could buy the wrong size or the kid wouldn't want the style of it. (The parents don't see the present, it's already wrapped.)

So, do you have an idea what to get as a present?

Also, I need to get a 5 year old boy an action figure. Do you know any good ones I can buy really soon?
