i need a few things clearing up

first off the wednesday game:is it really a foul to put your hands out to keep yourself up just because you have touched a player who has decided to fall in front of you in an attempt to stop the run when he is already below your knees when contact was made?
why can a defender now not run for the ball? (ie a striker changing course to ensure contact with a defender running back in order to win a free-kick)
why is it obstruction for a wednesday player to take the ball to the corner flag but noone else?
and (i love this one) why is it a foul by deon burton when he decides to stand his ground but not a foul on deon burton when a defender shoves two hands into his back when he jumps for the ball?

and now for the hull game: someone explain how the ref got away with awarding a free-kick for handball and dissallowing a goal when he told the hull players that anywhere else on the pitch it would not have been a free-kick (i always thought that it was one set of rules for the whole pitch, not one for outside the box, one for attackers in the box and a different one for defenders in the box)

1.everyone is against you.

2.the world wants the ground to swallow your beloved up.

3.refs like to watch back matches and laugh as your angelic players get all the bad decisions.

i hope i helped.

hey, the ref didn't give half of them, it was the fat fucker on the line that at the time was at least 30 yards behind play.

i actually like the ref we had, he may be absolute bollocks but he's now reffed three wednesday games at three grounds, been terrible in every one but seen us win every one- i actually want him for the last 2 games

that ones clear, and it has happened many times before- i remember shearer getting booked against us because he stood in the way of pressmans kick

theres another that i've remembered too- paul robinson last week pulled simek off the pitch when he went down after twisting his ankle, is that not a booking?

That situation has never been allowed, and anyway, didn't you get away with a penalty in the last minute though? lol

if you even more carefully you'll see it's the most minor of touches on the ball after he touches the man, which under law 12 is a foul

Quote:
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following four offences:

tackles an opponent to gain possession of the ball, making contact with the opponent before touching the ball
holds an opponent
spits at an opponent
handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area)
A direct free kick is taken from where the offence occurred.
pay particular attention to the part in bold

there was definitely contact, in fact from the penalty decisions in boro games this season that was possibly the clearist and yet it wasn't given

could it have something to do with fifa's new law 18, which states that all penalty decisions at old trafford must favour the home team. thats 2 clear penalties in 2 games that haven't been given now

it was a 50/50 ball it wasnt as i the boro player had the ball in his possession, and the contact was more the boro player running into o'shea, so end of the day no it wasnt a pen, but i have seen them given

Lets agree then, that if it was at the other end of the pitch, that Peter Walton would have given a penalty?

the amount of things that have gone for you against boro this season and you think one booking for a utd player shows he wouldn't have given it the other way
