Sorry to bring this up again, I just need to see what tha refs think about this:

Also should this have stood, I can't find anything in the rules:

The bottom one shouldn't of counted and the ref got it correct. The keeper dropping the ball and kciking it is one action. So, effectively the ball is still in the keepers hands until he's released it from a kick/throw etc. I like Ole's improvisation tho

the top on to me was a penalty, but i don't think the ref had the right view, maybe the linesman had it but doubtful the kept up with the play. so in the end c'est la vie

the bottom the ref got it correct. however i think it would have counted if Ole stole the ball when the keeper bounced it.

Well it was a clear penalty. Even Shearer said on MOTD it was definetly a penalty and if it was at the other end of the pitch, it would have been given.

i'm gonna cut out the discussion from MOTD and upload it to youtube for those who didnt see it. :thumbup1:

1st one, ref got spot on(Y).

2nd one, We can see from the video that it was a penalty, but I don' think the ref can be 100% sure, and I think thats why he hasn't blown.

Yeah but if it was at the other end, he would have given it. Like the previous penalties we had against us.

Ok, penalty decision first. There is contact with the ball. However, that is too little too late. The player has been taken first. Definite penalty in my view, and from Mr Walton's angle I don't know how he could really give anything other than the penalty, it'd have looked stone wall. But, if he wasn't sure he couldn't give it.

Solksjaer. Can't do that. Spot on. Not certain there was need for a caution, but wouldn't argue it.

Yawn, im getting bored of these united boro threads.. he slightly touches the ball after wiping out lee dong gook..

so should have been a penalty, but ref wasnt sure as he couldnt probaly see it so if he is unsure then it makes sense not to give it..

If anyone is to blame its the damn linesman for not doing his job..
