just confirmed(via sky) that graham poll to referee the Chelsea vs Manchester United fixture at Stamford Bridge on May 9th Your views??

I haven't personally seen that confirmed. I get the appointments e-mailed to me, and as of yet, haven't. I'm not sure they would appoint him this early, normally just under a week before the game, because what happens if he gets injured refereeing this weekend?

yeah, and then the ones they know dive they award free-kicks to anyway, defenders that like to go in hard but play within the rules get punished all the time anyway etc.

still a big game which will be aggresive, having Poll is not so much a big deal now the title has finished. lets hope he has a decent game!
