I think he will, there has been little sign from him that the low level speculation has any truth to it. I can't see him prefering the likes of Man Shitty to the great Celtic of Glasgow.

Well you never know do you, the Premiership is more renowned and there is more money available. Also it will be a greater challenge for him as managing either Rangers or Celtic, you have a 50/50 chance of winning the league.

I dunno, managing in the premier league is like managing in a league above the SPL.. wasnt exactly hard to win the title with a league with one team in it.. :animatedfear:

You English guys come away with the same thing all the time. We all know the EPL is better, it should be given it's resources though it's still not much more competitive. However at Celtic GS has experience in the champions league and experience at a massive club.Benefits he wouldn't get at some of the EPL sides reportedly interested in him.

He's still being linked to the Man City job. Mind you the majority of Managers are and it's just paper talk. I think he'll have another season at Celtic.

I would just like to point ur attention to somthing lee naylor said the other day, he said that he came to scotland with the same ideas that most english fans have about scottish football, and after a few games realised how hard it actually was in the SPL.
i mean yeah we dont have the big name players that you have in the PL, but we have players that play with passion for the jersey, and you often see magic games between the like of hibs and killie or motherwell and ICT etc etc...
remember that a country with 50mil people the saturation of the PL is enourmous compared with our 5mil.
Always remember that if it wasnt for sky and all their money the PL may not be that much better than the SPL except for the obvious Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal, the rest of the PL would be SPL standard. just think about it

Our Euro ranking shows that we punch above our weight(albeit thats down to the Old firm)and we do so without the cash that clubs in England get. It's easy for the English to rubbish the SPL and thats fair enough sometimes because a lot of it is garbage. But it's better than it has any right to be.

your right, all the old firm get from TV rights are 1.7mil each compared to 20mil for each team in PL

there was talk of Sir Tom Hunter taking over from Sir David Murray in the next 3 years and hes a multi billionaire, with him being a high profile Rangers supporter.
Imagine if Rangers and Celtic were given 20mil at the start of the season as aposed to 1.7mil
