It shouldn't hurt as much as a trophyless season and being out of the title race before halloween. After that things could only get better. But hopefully it'll be more challenging next year.

Barry Robson?? Half decent player but certainly not player of the year material. Nakamura got the prize deservedly for the goals and the amount of assists he's had this season. Although he's been inconsistent, I still can't think of anyone else who'd deserve it more.
