your opinions of your youth team...

I think Arsenals youth team and youth structure is marvelous, the players we get from places all over the world is unbelievable. We must have the best scouts to find these players.

What do you think of your youth team?

you have many good youth players, fabian brandy, daniel gallbraith, that one we went on about on mff, welbeck or something, you do have a good youth team.

Chelsea are terrible though, they actually buy more than half of their youth players, none come through the ranks like John Terry or Scholes, Giggs or Clichy

united youth squad is really good, liverpool did beat us but there youth squad is older than ours, i think in a few years they will be a lot better, and i think most will end up in our first team quad

Our youth team is good.. we have several first teamers who were born in the middlesbrough/newcastle/sunderland area.. LOCAL Lads.. :thumbup1:

in the first team

Andrew Taylor
Andrew Davies
Stewy Downing
James Morrison
Lee Cattermole

and theres more coming through, we expect to see a few more next season..

poolie_chick will become famous soon enough
I don't think our youth team is too bad. The only problem I'd say with them, is they mainly tend to be the fast pacers and we need some that'll chill out now and then lol.

arsenal, man utd and liverpool all buy the majority as well

our youth teams good, this season we've had 2 academy products make themselves permanent fixtures in the starting 11, 5 make their debuts and 3 or 4 more in the squad. we also do well in the academy league on a quarter of the budget of most teams, and with our players playing twice as many games as some with them also being the reserve team

Ours isn't bad given the quality of our first team. Barry Quin, our former caretaker manager runs it and he's done great job. Lot's of quality player produced

Super Leeds to win the Youth Cup next season, crushing Man U and the Arse along the way.

Schoolboy Big Tom Elliot may not have squeased into England's u17 squad this time but he turned out for Leeds again on Saturday (bit unusual that).

Rangers u19s won the scottish 19's cup and the League and one of the bloke has been compared to lampard, his name is dean furman, there are probably about 5 players that could go straight into the first team
