It seems like ages since LA Galaxy told everyone they have bought him. But when will he actually start playing for them and become one of their players?
In our summer, end of spains season

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Who actually gives a toss about Beckham anymore? He isn't even known for footie anymore like he used to be known. He's just an accessory for Victoria Beckham, and just like her Louis Voitton and D&G, he's a one-off and makes her look better.
He could do a better job than some of the current england squad...

I was under the impression his first game will be against the Red bulls Away.

what, with his whimpish attitude, superb free-kicks (resulting in 1 goal since 2000), passing quality that neglects the simple ball at every opportunity- no thanks

Beckham is still a great player and a Manchester united legend, he has recently being selected for england again and it helping towards Real Madrid winning la liga, on my opinion he still has one of the best crosses going, I'm just hoping he plays for Manchester united in the masters when he reaches 35 lmao

Yes I think he is still one of the best at crossing the ball. We will just have to wait and see what he will be like in MLS.

Wednesay4life- One of those superb free kicks resulted in a goal by John Terry last night.
And yeah his first game is August 5th at BMO Field in Toronto.
Already talk of him regretting his move as it might affect his international career. To be honest if he keeps playing like he did against Brazil it won't make a difference.

time to eat some humble pie.

I knew it would be good to bring him back, he has been playing quality for Real lately.

I thought his first game was a friendly against Chelsea? or is that one of his first?

...Chelsea aren't in MLS, the August 5th game in Toronto is his first MLS match. I never even heard about the friendly against Chelsea, when's that happening?

It's during Chelsea's N.America tour, late july if I remember correctly. However Beckham may not play that game if he is in the England squad, it coincides with a Euro cup qualifier
Would be some game, Beckham, sorry LA v. Chelsea...

Its funny the way Real Madrid are trying to make him stay, thinking they have a clause in their contract.
It's so the fans don't criticize the manager as much for letting him go...
