Wenger rules out Henry sale

Arsene Wenger has handed a boost to Arsenal fans by guaranteeing captain Thierry Henry will not be sold this summer.

The fleet-footed forward has endured a torrid campaign with injuries, but he is still one of the most feared strikers in Europe and is Arsenal's most prized asset.

The Gunners fended off interest from Barcelona last summer, but reports have claimed the Catalan giants will come back with a fresh offer in the close season.

Wenger says talk of Henry leaving is 'imagination' and has vowed to keep the 29-year-old at Emirates Stadium.

I really hope he stays. Though we have the assurance from Wenger that Henry's going nowhere, still feel uncomfortable for some reason.

We need the Henry-RVP strike force again!

Henry's past his best it would be a good oppurtunity to sell him if the right money was offered imo

yep that's probably about right. Don't know who'd pay £25m for him, unless Chelsea's next manager wants him at the bridge lol

after he recovered from his injury in the winter he was unbelievable, he was playing like he was a few years ago. but then he got injured for the rest of the season. If he keeps fit next season he will be the solution to their goal problems no doubt. that's my opinion.

that's not that strange in comparison.
I was thinking more along the lines of Ronaldo's stayed on his feet for 90 minutes once.:nodyes:
