According to this report anyway

MANCHESTER UNITED are poised to build on their Premiership title triumph with the £17.5million capture of Portuguese prodigy Nani.

Sir Alex Ferguson has urged the United board to move swiftly to sign the Sporting Lisbon star, who has been dubbed the new Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ferguson sees Nani, 20, whose favoured position is on the left of midfield, as the long-term replacement for Ryan Giggs.


Nani has a clause in his contract stating he can leave Sporting if any club comes in with a bid of £17.5m and United are determined to take advantage of that situation.

I haven't seen him to be honest, only on Youtube. I think we have a link with Sporting Lisbon so if we want him he'd be easy to get. £17.5m is alot for someone who might not play much next season. Discuss

Well he seems good on fifa when i buy him for real madrid. And he seems alright on youtube, might be an ok signing.
Well Saha's out of old trafford then?

This has nothing to do with saha, nani's a winger. I like Saha i think we should give him another chance, when he keeps fit he is a cracking player.

Does almouchie or anyone know much about nani???

I dont think he'd be doing it if he comes over here. fergie would do his nut if he got injured! On the youtube video i watched he plays very much like Ronaldo

yeah, and jurrasic park was out sometime, fletcher sometimes didnt have the time to come on but he did play some games. they already have 6 good enought o play week in week out

I'm sure I heard somewhere we have snatched another player away from you and are currently in talks with him.
