Every week from this one is like a final

Real Madrid hosted UEfa cup finalists Espanyol & quickly went down 2 nil then 3-1 with a hatrick by ex-Birmingham striker Walter Pandiani,
as of late a few changes by Capello introduction of Guti & Reyes, put the spite back & Raul scored twice, in form Nistelrooy & in the dying minute at 3-3 Higuin the relative perfomer robbed the sleeping Chica, gave REyes the ball who played a one two & scored the 4th & winner.
Real Madrid jumped to the top at least for a day.

Sevilla hosted & managed to win a difficult match against impressive Recreativo & stay in contention for the title.

Barcelona who are in continuim plange, have a lot to make up for, after their disasterous defeat in Copa del Rey 4 nil to Getafe.
Real Madrid have turned up the heat, & continue to raise the pressure & spit talk Barca in the media while the latter seem to be doing just that slumping.
Barcelona hosted struggling Real Betis who have managed to get themselves out of relegation since Fernandez arriving.
Again Barcelona started faintly win & won a penalty in 4th minute & ronaldinho scored it to go 1 up. But since then the barca players seem to waste one good chance after another, Eto'o simply had a horror night, Messi missed, Ronaldino a shadow of the best world player of a couple of years ago, Iniesta, Deco & probably others too. Real Betis made some change with assuncao & Robert coming in, looking to bolster the attack.
Whereas Rikjaard took out Ronaldinho then Messi & introduce Edmilson & later Saviola.
Second half was another dismal by barca, who couldnt possibly secure the 3 points with a one goal advantage.
In the 88th minute slick quick free quick saw Assuncao give the ball to sobis on the left, who was left alone unmarked & unleashed a strong shot at the corner that beat Valdez.
In the extra minutes Iniesta had a great chance & again wasted it. The match ended with pleasure form the Betis bench & president & probably elation in Madrid for the continued slide of the Catalans, they are seriously looking insecure, lack confidence, togetherness & passion.
To say the least I am gutted being a die hard Barca fan

& yeah I forgot
Real Madrid stay top on 66 points along with Barcelona & despite the barca better goal difference, Real are top because of the better head to head record, the won at home & drew at Nou Camp.
With 4 matches left, all is still to play for

After this Barca have only themselves to blame, they are been dismal since their UCL exit , havent convinced in their wins, & lost numerous opportunities to consolidate their lead, Real Madrid have the title in sights, & on their form of late & the rejuvinating team cohesivness & determination look a better bet.
