After he fielded a much weakend than expected team he has defended the selection and said "we did our best to beat West Ham". I dont think we've created that many chances for a long time but it wouldnt go in, we were unlucky. We hit the post, had 28 shots (4 off the line) and brought the cavalry on later. We have a cup final next week so can't risk too many people, but the team we did play was still strong. I think Warnock is bitter.

Fergie has nothing to explain..a managers job is to worry his and only his team.. neil warnock only has his own team to blame its there fault they are down the bottom.. they simply werent good enough.. he can blame everyone but it aint going to change a thing..

I agree. Yes West Ham have the benefit of playing Man Utd at a convenient time but luck is a big part of football.

Warnock can complain but at the end of the day playing a Man Utd first team who have nothing to prove and nothing to play for, trying not to get injured before a cup final is hardly better for West Ham than a fringe team who are playing for their futures and will want to impress.

Managing Man Utd or any other club isn't just about getting your 11 best players and playing them for every minute of the season, it's about pacing yourself and resting players when they get the oppurtunity.

i thought united played well, we had lots of chance few of the line and the post, we made a good effort no idea how we lost, but its not as if we didnt try, why is he defending himself he won 9 premierships who has the right to question him
