Is your chairman an idiot?
Pools' chairman irrates me so bad! He's skanky, he moans, he's tight, he thinks he's it...
After fans ran on the pitch a few matches a go, in the Program the following match, he had a go at every fan and said any fan who ALLOWED another fan to run onto the pitch is not a fan, just as much as the 'fan' running onto the pitch, and that none of us can define ourselves as fans. Ironic, cos us 'non-fans' keep him in business.
Another thing, when we got relegated, he said in the paper that if we didn't like it then we shouldn't come and that it's tough luck. Who the hell does he think he is!? Cos funnily enough, when the prices of season tickets and gate tickets go up YET AGAIN next season, he won't be saying jack-crap about us not coming will he.
Another thing, that the tight, moaning w@nker did was said that we can't play James Brown - Sex Machine, when our player of the same name scores a goal! He proper went mental over it. How petty is that?
Are any of the other club's chairmans as idiotic as our shameful one?

I would boycott the games. You are giving your money to him. He sounds like a right fool, you can't say stuff like that about the fans of the club. Yeah he is an idiot. Boro's Chairman is quality.

oh god not one of these holier than thou ones. It's not the duty of fans to keep other fans off the pitch it's the duty of stewards. Anyway if he's a fan and was at the game then shouldn't he of got out of his armchair ran out of the directors box and stopped the fans getting on the pitch?
I think Greg Dyke's used his name to good effect for our club but annoys fans by being passive and saying he's in the job for a bit of fun.

Sir David Murray needs to losen the purse strings at Rangers too many bosmans, too many average players coming through the door at Ibrox, not fit to wear the jersey, never tells the fans whats going on.

Nope, our chairman is all relaxed. Since he actually supports Middlesbrough and has grew up supporting Boro, he'll do what he can to keep the fans and players happy.

Our chairman doesn't really come out and talk to the media so we hardly ever hear from him.. Most of that is handled by the owner, Fred Story.

I hate those chairmen that think because they're the money behind the club that they own everything and anything associated with the club, including the fans.
It's just annoying when for the past 3 years, I've been a season ticket holder - attended every home game and as many away games as I could get to, and I get told that I'm not a fan because some other person ran on to the pitch, and that if I don't like how the club operates, then tough $hit basically, and for people who have been a season ticket holder for years and years too. He'd be sorry if all the sudden we did decide not to go to the games, cos it's not him who is the money in the club - it's us, and I think it's about time someone knocked him off his high horse and made him realise that.

Forget being part of a football club - fans aren't even treated like customers in most chairmens eyes. There just something that are there as a money making thing and will always be there.

You lot are pathetic. You really are, why do you have to mix religion with football. Religion has nothing to do with football and should never have anything to do with it. It is a place for people from all natinalities and all religions to come together and watch some great football on the pitch.
In this years masters, all the supporters were mixed together in the crowd, but the pathetic rangers and celtic fans have to be segregated. Masters is a bit of fun, you give football a really good name with all your biggotory singing.
It really annoys me.

I'll second that. One of the reasons football is called the beautiful game because it is a global language and unites everyone and is free from politics and religion. To be fair if it's the way you've been brought up then it's second nature and your just unfortunate that you've been brought up in such a bigoted way but you can't change it. Doesn't really give football a bad name as Old Firm aren't in the premiership and no-one really takes much notice of them
