So he didn't get his move to United then. This probaly spells the end of Defoe's time, but even without him Spurs have two quality strikers, Keane and Berbatov, so I can't see Bale getting a game in the near future.

Anyway, £10M is a hell of a lot for a player who not only totally unproven in the Premiership but, only has nearly 50 games under his belt at championhip level. Thats if hey have paid that much this time around.

i think he will get a few games as he sounds better than Lee YP. Like it was with Walcott buying an Englishmen will cost alot, even for someone in the Championship.

he's not that good- he got noticed for his free-kicks and forward runs, what people forget to mention is that only half his attacking is anywhere aproaching decent and for a full-back his defending is appalling
