Am I right in saying that it should have stood as it was ball to hand, even though that meant he legally scored with his hand.

What's the rule on this notts_ref?

Definite ball-to-hand, he's not even looking at the ball is he?

As much as I disliked it at the time, it was ball-2-hand. So, yes it stands.

nah man. still handball in my case. he turned around caus he knew the ball would hit his hand and hence went in the goal.

You cant even complain about that goal.. the speed it was going nobody knew it was even handball till after the match when we saw the replays. Liverppool can try to use it as an excuse but they simply were shite upfront, thats why they lost..

I know, I know how you feel kind of :). We got hammered 4-0 in a final!! But you didn't have the right people in attack, Crouch should have been on from the start. Shit happens!! :)

Aye remember that happening too well.. but was an amazing achievement getting there..

What liverpool need is two new wingers.. Zenden and Pennant did F all when they got the ball.. and with 1 forward on the pitch you need your wingers to play well..

And you have to question rafas decision to replace maschareno

Kaka was sure to score twice IMO when Liverpool were let off. Once with the offside decision which left him 1 on 1 with Reina, with Reina in no mans' land and then wen Kaka went past Caragher and he basically clotheslined him lol.

fine- it was handball, come on eeryone admit it

then again, kuyt was offside for his, so thats 2 disallowed and a 1-0 win for milan anyway

nah man. if u av a close look, it comes off of one of the milan defenders and kuyt is not considered offside because of this and besides even if it didnt come off of the milan head....half his body was onside and the other half was not....God help a fat player...

i you wastch you'll realise that it was headed on by a liverpool player before being DEFLECTED by a milan player therefore kuyt is still offside

I saw it and I just thought it hit his body as did everyone else at the game probably, he didn't even see it coming. Anyway, it's over and done with, AC Milan are 7-time European Champions. :red:

what he probably means is, Milan were better on the night, and outclassed liverpool, liverpool did play ok, but not good enough, as he said

wednesday4life

no, he probably means they were tripe- they couldn't find a way through despite being in controll of the game

a) Milan scored two goals.

b) Liverpool only scored one.

Quite simple, really. I don't get why people keep whinging about how Liverpool played better, when they only managed one lucky goal from a corner that took a deflection off of Maldini.

At the end of the day football is about winning matches and scoring more goals than the other team not discussing who is the better team but no way did Liverpool deserve to win. For a start their was a foul in the build up to the goal they scored against Chelsea and in the final their second goal was offside and so that cancels out inzaghis fluke. Not that it matters.
