Bale will reportedly sign today
BBC Sport Wales understands that Gareth Bale will sign for Tottenham Hotspur within the next 24 hours.

The Southampton and Wales full-back completed his medical at White Hart Lane on Thursday.

I think it's a mistake on his part. If he was smart, he would stay with Southampton for another year. Too many young players see Premiership oppourtunity and pounce on it without thinking. We'll be forgetting his name soon enough.

He might get some games as Lee YP and Essou-Akotu aren't great. Another young prospect that Spurs have snapped up.

He had the chance to go to Man Utd last season and he opted to stay and get first team opportunities.

I personally think Spurs is the best club he could go to. They have a young squad who have being developing nicely and I think he will be the same.

In my opinion though, £6M and rising to £10M is a rip off. Considering Man Utd payed £12M for Ronaldo. English players price tags need to drop because its getting ridiculous.

Great buy, £10m may be expensive, but he will probably end up being worth atleast double in a few years time.
