Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate said his patience has been tested by Mark Viduka who has yet to decide whether his future is at the club.

I really don't think he will stay with us, I like the fact that when Southgate rang him, he was on the Beach and in no rush lol - his biggest choice was which flavour ice-cream to have.

But I would be very surprised if Viduka is playing for Middlesbrough next season, everyone knows he's going to leave, otherwise he would have signed by now.

He has been a big player bor Boro, it will be a shame for him to leave. There was a story somewhere that we were in fro him on a free when he leaves, might be a good deal but he's getting old (?)

31 I think he is? Yeah, I saw on the BBC site that Man U, Newcastle and Sunderland were after him on a free transfer.
