they should try something even more radical, like distributing it lower down through to grass-roots. even if this happens, the premier league is bad for football, all it's doing is ensuring that it's own clubs get nearly the same amount putting the rest of football een further behind

Quite right this will lower wages among the top players. I think the likes of Rotherham, Bradford, Leeds (as much as I don't want these clubs to for other reasons) should get it.
