Chelsea need somebody who can influence a game, like Cole in their team. I don't know why they haven't been playing him when he was fit. I'm sure they've got back-up somewhere in the squad.

I thought Joe Cole was playing a top game before he disappeared. Hes a great player and is continuing to improve (age wise). If he is fit, I think hes a needed player in the squad.
