It really does, Italy were catching the PL up in 2000 but they have gone downhill. Its a crazy amount of money.

It shows it's the biggest though. Something needs to be done about wages and let this money come off ticket prices but it's impossible to do so - you can't put wage caps because it's against the law and if one club makes a stance against it they'll just lose all their players.
