Why is one perfectly acceptable and the other not. Yes we'd all like to turn on GMTV in the morning and watch porn :hahaha: but on a serious note it should be the other way round.
The way violence is portrayed in most movies - as something with no consequences which is dangerous as it sends the message out that you can go and get in a fight in real life and no-one will be hurt. Obviously it's not that blunt but it's that idea.
Sex on the other hand is an activity of compassion and love, supported by religion and something that most people in society encourage. Obviously you shouldn't have it on day time terrestial tv, but surely it's not as bad as violence.
