Newcastle Sign Viduka

Just found this out, how come nothing has been posted about this?

It's bloody Newcastle I'm afraid.

Goodbye Mark. Thanks for three great years and some very memorable performances.

Fucking traitor!

What's up with the Yak? If he goes you're in trouble upfront. I think they're going to make an announcement next week. Allardyce is currently on vacation in France and goes back to work on Tuesday. It's supposed to be his first piece of work as Newcastle boss.

That's what i've seen on the issue.

Parker possibly going and Viduka possibly coming in?

Newcastle are going backwards if it happens.

Parker is injury prone. It won't end up being that great of a lost.

The only way that team can seriously finish in the top 5 is if they can stay healthy. That's never going to happen. I can't see them finishing in the top 5. It will still take them a season and don't forget Allardyce is great with the oldies i'd imagine he knows what he's doing.

Getting a few seasons out of players the wrong side of 30 is acceptable at Bolton, it's a different kettle of fish at Newcastle - a club of their potential needs to be building a team for the long-run.

Is Allardyce a one-trick pony or can he adapt to the totally different challenge? It'll be interesting to see.

its kind of a sad story at newcastle, in all honesty they are as big as Arsenal, Man U, liverpool and Chelsea, in terms of support, assets and money but just cant seem to get the mix right on the pitch.

I would have thought he'd look for a more athletic forward to link up with Martins.
But I think Viduka is a decent forward, he seems to put them in the net, job done.

now that i think about it viduka playes with his back to goal and he recieve the ball into feet so he may be there to make more chances for martins, he may be able to work off him better, and viduka seems to get some goals as well but still only seem a band-aid for the real problem. It might work for a season or two but they will need to sign a top class striker with prem experience
