Dundee United today confirmed the signing of 24 year old Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska on a two year deal, with effect from 11 June.
The player is currently with Polish first division side Korona Kielce and a nominal fee has been agreed to allow him to join Dundee United at the opening of the transfer of the transfer window in June. His previous clubs include Legia Warsaw.
Manager Craig Levein said, “I’m excited about securing the signature of this player. He comes highly recommended and impressed greatly during his trial period with us. He’s at the right age to develop further as a goalkeeper and I’m sure he will not only do well for the Club, but will also become a firm favourite with our supporters.”
Lucasz paid a flying visit to Tannadice today to complete his medical before heading straight back to Poland. He will return to Tannadice for pre season training on 30 June. He said, “I am delighted to be joining Dundee United, a club which is well known in Europe and with a great tradition. I feel I can help the Club get back to challenging in Scotland and perhaps again in Europe. I am also excited about moving to Scotland and regard this move as a fresh start and a great opportunity to further my career.”
Aww crap, we have a pHole in our goals...get it?...ach jeeso! :LolLolLolLol:
