Blades confident of reinstatement
Sheffield United plc chairman Kevin McCabe believes the club will be reinstated to the Premiership over the Carlos Tevez affair.
BBC SPORT | Football
================================
Even though Its been proper dragged out, and the premier league tried to scare Sheffied United off by saying they will lose. Now they say if they will this arbitration on the 18/19 June then they will be reinstated.
But what will they do?
Have 21 teams in the league as I can't see them relegating West Ham.

that will do f**k all.
There's no chance of them having 21 teams in the league, a punishment has been given to West Ham and i cant see anything else changing. Sheff Utd should stop moaning before they are the ones to get punished.

I can't see them relegating West Ham, I still think they have a strong case and might win it. If they win it then they will have to either have a 21 league Premiership or relegate West Ham to the Championship which will not happen in my eyes.
The easiest thing would be to just let Sheffield United go down.

Would be daft if the Hammers splashed the cash on players like Parker and SWP and were then relgated.

But apart from that your right - keeping things as it is is the easy way round it.

yeah quiet possibly, but I think there will be clauses in their contracts which will let them sign for another club if they did go to the Championship. There are always clauses in contracts these days.

Not entirely true. He made boro an established premier league club and didn't really do too badly until the season he left.

Well one of two things will happen. Either they get reinstated in that case i think you'll have 21 teams or they'll get a pretty penny for going down which maybe more likely.
