Could be Roy Carroll yes: This was in today's Sun so there is a good chance it could be true.....

Anyway if this is a Wigan signing it would be them down in my opinion. Carroll was only good for us as he had a solid backline, he was always prone to injuries and mistakes.

I dont know if West Ham released him as he had gambling problems. An ok keeper when he has a strong defence in front of him.

I think for a team like Wigan its a good signing and he will do a good job, however surely he is just back up for kirkland.
