Have you ever heard of recorders?

They're fucking brilliant. You don't even have to leave the telly on.

I kid you not.

Just two good reasons for watching tonight's comedy awards tonight!

It's all I can manage:

People say it's boring sh*te, and fair comment I suppose. Although it is the most entertaining of all the Awards things you will agree. But on the plus side, the opening Ross speech is always a cracking bit of "stand up" and has been for the past 16 years. Even when some dicks didn't understand just how good he was. Fortunately most people learn, albeit at a worryingly slow pace. Still they get there in the end, so let's not call them humourless pricks eh.

And there is the complaint about having a room full of comedians with no f**ker being funny - the notable exception being Gervais, as you will know he's saved the show almost single handily for the past five years. Even last year when they shamefully didn't award him anything. If the clueless pricks don't give him a couple this year I think he should just opt out and let his superiors show their superior talent.

It's unlikely they could, I know.

I don't have any blank DVD's either, lol.

I'll only miss like the first 15 minutes of it so its nothing to worry about, i'll watch the rest.

That will be a big problem. The first 5 mintes will be the best (it's the rest you could miss).

You'll miss the opening Ross speech where he hilariously takes the piss out of 20 celebs.

I think Heather the gold-digger might get a mention.

It's interesting that Peep Show has never even been nominated before. But as you will know, I'm sure, last year Gervais was asked to get up and speak even though he hadn't won anything, because he had been the star of the show for the past four years and it wouldn't have been the same. He made a very strong (and funny at the same time) complaint about Peep Show not being nominated yet again.

This year even though Peep Show hasn't had a new series since has been nominated up against Gervais.

He could well pay the price for speaking out.

Ross the Master superb again.

Gervais didn't win anything but came up trumps.

Can't understand why he didn't win anything again? I think the majority of people would prefer to watch diluted comedy aka 'The Ant & Deck Saturday night takeaway', what a load of crap.

I thought it was good to see Borat - Sasha Cohen get an award, its been a big year for him.
