BEN JOINS BLUE KIDS' CLUB

CHELSEA are ready to sign Leeds' England youth left-back Ben Gordon, 16, in yet another raid on Elland Road's top-class kids.

Matthew Woods and Tommy Taiwo were controversial Chelsea captures from Leeds more than a year ago in a deal which ended up costing the Stamford Bridge club £2.5million.

Now Chelsea, currently sweeping up some of the best English teenagers in the game, are likely to pay around £1.5m in instalments for Gordon, as troubled Leeds show they are still capable of bringing through young talent.
