Middlesbrough have agreed a deal with Arsenal to sign French striker Jeremie Aliadiere in the wake of Mark Viduka's departure from the Riverside.

I have heard good things about this lad, he's only 24 so he's got plenty of years left in him. Good replacement for Viduka me thinks!!

He was shitty player with West Ham. :ranting: he may change when he play for Boro! ;)

I can see why Wenger's ditched him, he had oppurtunities and never really took them, should be ok for Boro...

Exactly. I don't think they're going to go down but I think they could find themselves the wrong end of the table if they don't sign some quality players
