Best and Worst away days

A survey has listed the following teams as the worst grounds to get to on:

Midfield Dynamo Football Site

Which are your favourite away days and which are your worst?

AFC Bournemouth is definitely my worst. Characterless stadium quite far from the station (although not too bad) and don't like the fans there (sorry hammer!)

Best one is Wycombe Wanderers. Not the easiest to get to but it's a brilliant ground with a backdrop of hills in the middle of the country.

Good thread here..Number 3 in the slum rating is this..

3 Celtic Park

crest Celtic
Celtic Park is in a pretty scary part of Glasgow. Although anyone arriving in the magnificent city centre will wonder what all the fuss is about. However, the journey from here takes you past all the squalor that the poorest areas of Glasgow have to offer. Urchins lurk on street corners swigging booze from the bottle. What's left of the shops are fortified like Northern Irish police stations in the 1970s. And unlike other Glasgow stadiums there isn't a nearby station to get you back into town. As for the local boozers, don't expect organic real ale or a white wine for the lady.:yikes:yes:haha::thumbup1:

Being generous in my opinion!!

Wonder what he was like when Micah Richards scored with the last touch of the game in the FA Cup...

Id imagine boro would be shite for away fans.. our dickhead stewards shove them straight into the ground once they get off the bus.. yes:

Wigan is probaly my best away day.. not particulary the stadium but for the day out as a whole..

Best: Like going to both Manc clubs, easy to reach by train and good choice of pubs near the station.

Worst: Middlesbrough (sorry Smoggies!) Not a fan of the new breed of stadia, them bastard stewards, having to wait for ages at some service station just outside the town. At least it's not a very long way away.

Millwall Haha! they are probably right there. If your a west ham fan and you get lost, you shouldnttalk to anyone, not even for directions, only speak to the police that are all hudled in a corner by the entrance

I enjoyed going to Millwall, no need to be scared of the mouthy chavs in the corners of the East and West stands.
