I can see where he's coming from. If you get a 3 match ban for swearing at a ref or something then you should get a 10 match ban for that but as you point out it's not practical because you have to have a framework and abide by it to be consistant

i'm not saying that- i'm saying that tackle always gets 4 matches, it happens 2/3 times a season, it even sometimes only gets a booking

but it only gets a booking if the ref doesn't see it clearly since the FA are unable to overrule decisions put in a match report, stupidly.
