I don't believe Craig Beattie to be too bad of a player. He has never really had the chance of a run in the team from what I've seen. Whenever he seems to be entering into a bit of form he gets injured. If he could stay injury free he could be a good player couldnt he?:

When players are injury prone I tghink teams should be willing to try and find out why this keeps happening. It will probably have to do with the players diet and whatever he does in his spare time. They shouild take more responsibilty in ensuring the players look after themselves outside the club aswell as in it. They have access to some of the best medical treatments there are so I'm sure they could find a way if they tried.

If you've got a dodgey knee or ankle then the amount of fish suppers you eat won't be a factor. Some players are just cursed. Beattie isn't the worst by any means. He just isn't good enough for us. He's had plenty of chances. Time to get rid.

The type of food you eat can have aa affect on how your muscles react to certain activities. I can see your point if someone has torn a ligament but that can be repaired and if the player doesn't look after himself when it is then its his fault. Steps can be taken. When its a pulled hamstring or something similar then a playetrs diet can be taken into account along with other factors.
