The Northern Echo :: News, Sport, Business and more from around the North East (http://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/display.var.1470176.0..php)

===================

Its from the Northern Echo so I don't know how accurate this will be. But 12million is a fantastic offer, £12 million plus the £2.5 million that Boro owe Portsmouth written off, making it £14.5 million Plus Gary O'Neill.

Now this is a good offer, but Yak scores goals, not that many last year compared to what he could have scored, but he still scores and even though this "sounds" tempting, I think we should keep hold of him.

If it's true boro would be mad not to take it. They've already got 2 new strikers and could get more and this would give them money to strenghten important positions such as the right side (as bb tells us)

We might actually be selling him to Pompey if we get this third striker who is un-named.

12 million plus Gary Oneil.. i hope that happens.. Gary Oneil aint great but can give cover in the midfield and yak has been shite second half of the season anyway.. 12 Million, we could get a few more players for that.. we have two strikers coming in already and a possible third soon..

I say give Yak 1 more season, he's scoring goals so we don't really need to get rid of him, we need to see how the new signing start out. Hopefully they will be ok and we we can sell Yak during the 2nd transfer window.

We should take the offer while its on the table..we probaly wont get 12 million plus another player for him again.. 12 million could sort out both the right wing problems and the right back problem.. and get us plenty of cover in the midfield

Yes I suppose, but we need a striker who we know can score. I would personally just leave it be at the moment.
