Sunderland have offered for David Nugent.

Nugent is a long Everton Fan and has already submitted to boss David moyes that he wants to go, Moysey has been Spotted at Preston twice, while Nugent at Everton once.

However the threat "I won't till the end of summer".

if he is self-declared Evertonian and they put in a bid, he'd definitely go. It would be interesting to see him paired up with AJ

I'm surprised they haven't put a bid in to be honest. They're a bit of a yo-yo club have a good season and then a bad one and I'd have though they'd be desperate to sign a quality player like him to really consolidate the position they're in at the moment.

I think if David Moyes makes an interest then he will difintily go to everton, either that or hell stay put and go for one more chance at getting to the premiership with Preston, afterall it was them who gave him the chance.

Championship side Preston North End have given two clubs permission to speak to striker David Nugent. The 22-year-old has just returned from playing for England in the Under-21 European Championships in Holland. i'd say Everton and sunderland. everton have been interested in him for some time. sunderland because keano is good at getting 'big names'.

Well this is what I think

If Everton have offered Nugent will go there, if its Blackburn, Wigan or West Ham instead of Everton he will go to Sunderland

Remember he is an Everton fan :P

If we want Nugent, in my opinion we will get him. We can't offer more money than Sunderalnd, Portsmouth and West Ham, but if were in for him, there is only one club Nugent is going to choose. Alot like AJ's move last summer, where even Simon Jordan said Wigan and Bolton were willing to pay more for AJ and offer him higher wages, but there was only one club for him.

However I doubt whther Moyes wants him now. He knows him more than any other manager in the PL and I think he is a far better judge than any of us to whether to sign him or not. I'd love him to join us, but Moyes will make the right decision.
