Charlton striker Darren Bent has turned down a move to West Ham after the two clubs agreed a fee.

Good news for West Ham as he is not worth the money they were going to pay, 17million was it? Anyway does Bent know something that we don't know?

West Ham are going to have to pay over the odds as they've got so much money and everyone knows it.

Why should he have joined? Maybe he has a better offer...

how funny would it be if loads of greedy players joined west ham and then they got relegated and sheff utd reinstated :hahaha:.

Anyway, he has obviously been told he is generating interest from elsewhere. I wouldn't particularly like to join west ham as I can't see them doing much, if anything, next season.

I bet they all have clauses in their contract that if sheff utd get reinstated the players can leave. Will still leave them screwed though as other clubs might not want them...

Obviously an issue, also apparently lots of players weren't speaking to him last season. Do you think it will be a problem?

What does Tottenham need with a striker. They already have 50 of them. They should focus on the backfield and look for a new goalkeeper. Robinson is crap
