I'm not signing it. Just because you can't touch it doesn't mean it's not property.

I think the way that certain words, such as 'fantasy football' are copyrighted which is much worse. As this law is not enforced that's not as important.

Well all they are is fixtures? A list of when the games are going to be played. Clubs get enough money these days. Especially the premiership. You are one of the very few people who will not be signing this petition. Its getting loads signing it at the moment, it changes after every refresh.

Its not right to copyright them, they even copyright players names and the numbers they were. Its just gone to far really.

If they're charging that much to publish them, then they're not 'just fixtures'.

If you think there's too much money in the game then don't sign peititons because the FA won't listen to them. Cancel the sky subscription and don't pay to see top flight football.

But that is value for money, paying sky's subscription and the £50 for the prem plus is good value in my opinion. For the amount of games you see and compared to the price it is to see the games.

Nothing wrong with saying it's good value, but your still paying a huge part of that to the premierleague.

It is rediculous like... I mean, a player's name! That's just taking it over board... I think I'll get my name copyrighted then nobody will ever be able to say my name without my permission... it's pathetic. At the end of the day, it's a list of places and dates, and to copyright them is just taking it way too far. Just publish them for educational purposes they can't touch you then yes:

Yeah but your getting something in return. The fixtures should be public domain as they affect so many of us. You'd think they would rather us promote the fixtures rather than restricting what we can do with them.

If it was £30 to buy the licence then I may buy one, but over 6k to show all the fixtures is fucking disgusting.

Its disgraceful!!Anybody Remember when the game was for the fans??
Too much corporate sh1te now..money grabbing bassas.
Football has boom times and slumps.as does the economy,recessions etc.
The game will slump again in the future at some time.Maybe then the fans will be able to say fook you we aint being ripped off anymore.
