If the pen taker shapes to shoot to the right, the keeper should dive the other way.

If it gets down to someone who has never taken a pen in his life the keeper shouldn't anticipate and blindly dive either way.

Don't know anything about your theory but keepers invariably go the wrong way. I'd be curious to know how many times Carson did.

Clearly Littlejohn hasn't written an article about penalty shoot-outs yet. At the end of the day whether you dive the right way or not is just luck.
