1.) if i had a install disk, could i run that disk and burn it to a writable DVD and boot it of there when i wanted?

2.)if i did that and it worked, would the 30 day trial run out, becasue how would it know because it cant re-write the disk.

as long as you have software that can make a perfect copy (security and all)

the 30 day trial is from the installation date. if you make a copy of an install disk all you have done is make two installation disks not defeat the trial feature.

Vista conflicts with so many programmes its hardly worth having just now.The software makers need to catch up with it.and soon.
