Mark Schwarzer refused to commit his long-term future to Middlesbrough amid fears he could follow fellow Aussie Mark Viduka out of The Riverside.
Schwarzer, 34, in Singapore preparing for the Asian Cup finals, has been linked with Bayern Munich.
And he has admitted he was concerned by Viduka's departure to Premiership rivals Newcastle on a free transfer.
Schwarzer said: " I've got another year left on my contract. We will just have to wait and see, I'm not really sure."
He added: "Obviously there has been a lot of speculation in the media about certain clubs being interested, but at this moment in time I don't really want to comment."
Schwarzer told the Australian media last week: "It's concerning, very concerning. Mark was one of the main reasons why we stayed up."

Wouldn't be the first time he's wanted to go. I'm not sure about him going or not, he's did good for us but he can't have long left now before he retires? I mean he's 34....
