How was he doing with Macclesfield? Could see him being a manager. I hope he does well, he was a good player when he was with boro.

Well he saved them from certain relegation, they were bottom of the table seven points adrift of 23rd place when he took over at the end of October. They jumped out of the zone on the last day of the season.

To be honest I think it was a bit of both. He was a great Guv'nor on the pitch at Man Utd so it's no surprise he can emulate that in the managerial ranks.
