Liverpools quest to attain the services of Fernando Torres may have hit a snag or two. Reports out of Spain have Villareals replacement deal, Diego Forlan, fall through. As such Villareal will not let Torres go until a suitable replacement is found.
On the other hand it also reported (aka rumoured) that Man. Utd are after the Spanish striker as well. The transfer of Alan Smith ( £6mil )and the potencial transfer of Rossi (£8-10mil) would give Utd. significant financial backing to highjack the Torres deal with Liverpool
