We supposedly going through Global warming, yet these last few days have been raining and it has been cold. There wasn't much play at Wimbledon, and the Twenty20 matches were called off..... so would you call this 'Global Warming'.

As I keep saying, there's no such thing as Global Warming.

Found this on another site, the member seems not too well informed about the whole global warming scenario. I'm not too informed either but what I do know is that it does exist and its a natural occurrence we just seem to be speeding it up.

The world is gradually getting warmer, but saying that, if the ice caps melt then that would allow much colder fresher water into the Atlantic which would interrupt the gulf stream which controls our weather and they would cause an ice age for the UK and a lot of Europe.

It's a natural process, give it a few years and everyone will be panicking about Global Freezing.

Do you know that if the polar ice caps were to melt then most of England would be covered in water and the majority of Scotland will be just fine due to most of the land being far enough above see level. Think the scots should set up some sort of baracade to stop people from making their way north if it was to happen.

Since all this happening is going to cause a new ICE age then it doesn't matter if it thaws because it will freeze back up again anyway lol

I don't know about all this global warming crap. Some people think that we're meant to get warmer summers and colder winters, and other people think all seasons are meant to get hotter. I don't know.

I'm not really worried. The weather is shit in Scotland all the time anyway so I'm used to it lol

I care... Well, I do a bit cos I'm always cold, even in early summer and in late August I'm cold.. It's only July where I'm really warm all the time. :( I don't want to get even colder lol :cry:
